Spring is here and it’s time to get your house cleaned out from the winter! These spring cleaning goals will have you on your way in no time.
Have no fear, Spring is here! That means time to open up those windows, put away winter boots and start Spring Cleaning. Having goals when you start cleaning is the smartest way to get cleaning. Here are some great goals to help get your cleaning done right.
Eco-Friendly Spring Cleaning Goals
Put All Winter Clothing Away
You can make more room for your clothes by putting away the out of season items. Be sure that while you are putting clothes away to make any needed repairs and also donate the items you are no longer using.
Don’t Forget the Windows
You don’t want to miss out on seeing spring blooming outside because your windows are dirty. Take a little time to clean your windows and get them looking great for spring.
Don’t forget to use natural cleaners. You can also use newspaper in place of paper towels for beautiful windows without the waste!
Baseboards Matter
Cleaning baseboards isn’t a fun job but it must be done.If you find they are really bad remember to give them a quick vacuum once a month and next year the job will be much easier!
Rotate Seasonal Tools
If you have limited space make sure the tools you are using for that season are the easiest to get to. That will make it much easier when you have projects you need to do.
Move All Rugs and Clean Under Them
It’s time to move things you usually don’t clean under and get everything nice and clean. This is also the time to clean any rugs that need cleaned.
Power Wash All of The Things
Power washing is a good way to clean things without having to use chemicals. Be mindful of how much water you are using but when used properly you can save on resources overall.
Donate 10+ Things to Goodwill
While you are doing your spring cleaning be sure to think about what you no longer need. Instead of cluttering up your own home you can donate your unused items to Goodwill and help others.
All of these goals are easy. Make sure you clean things that you don’t clean during your weekly cleanups and may even forget during deep cleans.
