Earth Day is coming and it’s an important day to teach kids about our planet and why we need to protect it. These Earth Day activities can help.

Earth Day is coming up soon, April 22nd. And it’s a great day to take some time to think about our planet and how we are treating it.

It’s also important to teach kids about the planet and why we need to protect it is very important. They are the ones that will be in charge and making choices that impact the planet soon.

Taking some time this Earth Day to talk about why we have Earth Day and doing some fun activities and crafts can help encourage them to be good stewards of the earth.

Many of these Earth Day activities use things from your recycling bin or that you already have around the house. They are easy and a lot of fun.

You can also look for fun Earth Day events going on around your area. If you are in Oklahoma check out the Green Living in Oklahoma Facebook group to find Earth Day events around the state.

Many of the events take place on the weekend before Earth Day so the whole family can join in on the fun.
